That's ok, being in your "poll" is not that important to me. I just like talking about what a big Emma Peel fan I am!Guillaume wrote: thanks but try to class please...or i can't take your vote...

Coming of age during the Emma Peel era (and having had the indescribable delight of seeing her onstage twice since), all my favorites are from those years. There are so many great episodes, but using brute force I would say these, in no special order: * Murdersville * Dial a Deadly Number * Who’s Wh...

Re: Good Deals on Avenger DVD Boxsets
I paid more a few years ago for the Emma Peel boxset (but don't regret it). But this -- 2 for 1!mousemeat wrote:SOME VERY GOOD DEALS within their site...Think I'll have to shell out for a few needed titles...
Have all the seasons of Secret Agent except the first when it aired as "Danger Man".

Good Deals on Avenger DVD Boxsets
Good deals at DeepDiscount on Avenger boxsets. I might look into the non-Emma seasons to buy so I can truly be an Avengers completist!

I never thought of Wild, Wild West as being similar to M:I . Rather I thought it closest of the TV shows to the James Bond format, especially in Conrads portrayal of Jim West as an agent with a gadget in one hand trying to catch the bad guys while romancing a pretty girl at the same time with the o...

I remember having to fight to watch Man From U.N.C.L.E becasue my parents thought the content too adult (may be the same reason I never saw a Bond movie in a theater until I was well into my teems and Moore had taken over the role of 007). Get Smart , being a comedy on at an early hour was of cours...

Yes, I think the ending itself is very well done! It's one of the best moments in the whole series. But I always think, why didn't Peter Peel come up to Steed's apartment and meet him? They should have been interested in meeting each other. Personally I don't think that would've worked. The ending ...

First saw The Avengers when the Rigg monochrome episodes were shown on ABC-USA as a summer replacement series, as they were called back in the 60s when they needed something to fill the time slots of shows which had bombed ratings-wise. I was big into the spy genre watching I Spy, Man From U.N.C.L....
