I really enjoyed the latest one. I'm not sure how a suicide cluster plotline would have ben received in the 60s, and possibly a link to a government agency in the village would have helped better explain why Steed and Peel were called in, but the discovered threat and the denouement(s) were very goo...

I missed issue 2 but issue 3 was a good resolution to the first story and I'm looking forward to the next one. The characters are well done, and despite some differences from the TV series in the structure of the story (Steed and Peel know things before the audience/reader does and reveal this after...

It's a very good start to the series and I'm looking forward to seeing more. Some dialogue slips but the story is fun and very Avengers-y.

The way Steed works out....the thing he works out is perfect.

An Avengers computer game. Select Steed or Mrs. Peel depending on the task, and battle the henchmen until you are ready to face the diabolical mastermind. Bonus points for the lowest body count of British Agents. "Mrs. Peel - We're needed!" reproduction paraphernalia. A vinyl single of the...

Having Now Seen Every Survivig Episode...

I have been slowly watching the last Tara King episodes to delay the inevitable, but I've now watched all the surviving episodes of the original series.

Now on to The New Avengers. :D

Yes, next day delivery ended up as next week delivery for me.

It's worth waiting for. :)

I'll be returning "The Forget Me Knot", but I've now watched up to "Noon Doomsday" and the quality of these episodes is so much higher than I've seen them before.

My copy of Series 6 *finally* made it through the post yesterday. The picture and sound are great (I don't know about grain, but if you can see individual hairs out of place in people's haircuts then the image quality can't be bad) and I'm really enjoying watching the Tara episodes that I haven't se...

It's really sad that there are problems with the sound. I hope they can be fixed. The image quality is wonderful and deserves the best possible accompaniment. :-)

Wonderful photographs, interesting insights into the series' production, and a Patrick Macnee foreword.

The only problem is that there isn't enough of it. ;-)
