I like the whirling thing scene. The very first time I watched this episode I loved it because I didn't know what was coming next. My beloved Emma came through in style, though, using her lipstick to mark the device and thus finding that there was indeed only one device and she was somehow being led...

This one also deserves a tip of the bowler for the great atmospheric it has in the opening scene- a gaslamp lit cobblestone street in the fog. Ahhhh... British to the core!

I can't remember the episode now, but when Emma's fighting with a man in the water her head goes under water and her hair's clearly wet, and the next moment her hair's dry again! That was The Bird Who Knew Too Much, I'm pretty sure. I'll put it in the queue for re-viewing this week and confirm it.

Conventions, to me, seem to be more about bartering for useless trinkets or trying to collect autographs and such.
