Re: The Forget-Me-Knot

Were I to have the power to change it, I would make her father return from the dead (as it were). The result would have been much the same and there would be a hint that Emma would be on an extended leave/holiday, rather than tender any 'resignation' from the Ministry. I'll second that. That way my...

I agree. Steed and Emma were fine without a boss.

Maybe I'm stuck in the analog world too much. I can't say a high signal to noise ratio is all that important to me. I don't mean there should be spots and hairs all over the place but to have it too crystal clear is taking something away from the original work IMHO.

The Dissolute Avengers website

Similar to the virtual museum idea that was talked about on the old forum... The "Mrs. Peel... We're needed" site seems to have images gathered of different props as well as little tidbits about each one. Loads of (small) pics and info. http://www.dissolute.com.au/avweb/props.html I defini...

How much resolution is too much, though? For me personally, some of the charm of the show comes from the 1960's television "feel" it has in the colour. Should they go through and "Restore" the episodes and have them look as though they were filmed only recently some of the charm ...

There's some stunning images in the calender. Seeing them just makes you realise that there must be a massive amount of unseen photo graphs from the series. I'd love to rummage through the archives. Aren't they all just screen caps? If they're production stills that can't be found in any of the epi...

Favorite campy moments

Continuing this topic from the old forum... Here's another one I like- in "Never Never Say Die" when the two soldiers are out in the field and they receive a radio call from their commander, in order to fake that they are walking around instead of taking a break they stomp-in-place on the ...

Laurie has some nice quirky riffs that she uses (Dead man's treasure road rally theme)

She also has that signature bass clarinet note at the end of the tag scenes :) Lovely!
