The point about Epic is that it pokes fun at lots of stock film figures, which The Avengers does very often.
I also liked that it gives a feeling of nostalgio for past glorious film epocs.
It doesn't really need a plot. Why should it have a plot?

So, done: I have found the avatar back I used on the previous Avengers forum.

That's odd: it's the same image as the previous one, but it's size is much smaller.
