I think I have some Les Baxter on one or two of my Ultra-Lounge CDs. By the way ikbtops, you have some gr-ea-t pics on your Avengers photo gallery. I've been an Avengers fan for some decades now, but have never seen some of those photos. Where'd ya find 'em? Love pics 1, 9 (Diana does Dirty Harry),...

Charlie Parker wrote:Apparently Hendry had a reported drink problem, Brian Clemens made a comment to him that he'd cast in Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter if he laid off the booze.

There is an app for iPhone called "speak it".The British Male accent sounds remarkably like Patrick MacNee at times. Just type in the text and he says it. It's fun to make him say off colour things about his co-stars...
"Peter Cushing? a Right Tosser!" etc.

The milk float is one of my mum's biggest memories of the Avengers. She'll forever associate Macnee's face with being unnerved by weird or creepy things happening. Murdersville is nasty in that it's quite sadistic. It may get all silly towards the end like with the fight but earlier on there's a na...

One of my favourite episodes of the Tara years.
Very different from a lot of story lines The way it was filmed with edging in close-ups really added to the tension of the story.

IMHO the way it was shot, the storylines, editing and of course performances will keep that 60's vibe intact. Just cleaning up the image so you feel like you're one of the avengers as opposed to watching them on an old telly, would be the main point of blu Ray for me... You can always stick to the o...

I hope this means we're close to a Blu Ray release of the 67 series, at least. I know The Prisoner will be out on Oct. 27th.
