Bain (The Gilded Cage, for instance) Harding (Mr. Teddy Bear, for instance) Hayers (The Superlative Seven, for instance) Leaver (Dial a Deadly Number, for instance) These episodes are probably my favourite Avengers episodes ever and the directing also contributes to this (people might dislike some o...

The Superlative Seven is a bit like Dead Man's Treasure, if your in the mood for it, it's wonderful, but if you want a good plot then you'd better save it for some other time . Diana does Emma at her best (or the most enjoyable) in this episode.[/b] Well, the most popular episodes feature a very sh...

I'm surprised Honey for the Prince hasn't garnered a single vote. After Prices it's my favourite season 4 story. Great plot, wonderful sets, and Emma's priceless turn as an airhead harem girl. If I'd known it was going to be this under-loved I'd have voted for it instead. I would probably only rate...

I chose How to Succeed........at Murder. It has a very interesting script, though if you would ask me tomorrow then I might answer The House That Jack Built. The problem that I have with the fan classics (Town and Bargain) is that both are very much plodding along until the final 10 minutes or so. A...

Top 10 Favourite Characters

Yes, it is another list. Which characters (minor or big) from The Avengers are most beloved by you? Obviously besides the stars of the show. Just make a top 10 and post it in this thread, perhaps that after a few months (if there are enough lists) I will combine the results. Here is my own list: 1. ...

Re: The Big Thinker

Right.....onto Intercrime now, I've heard a lot of good things about this episode! Well, the camera/door goof is funny... not sure anything else about it is that great :( It has one of the best scripts from the earlier seasons, thought I realize that not everybody is drawn to the script in terms of...

When you think about Town of No Return, it's quite horrific really as the children will all have been murdered or shipped off somewhere.. The plot does not make this clear, as the bad guys say it is a holiday week (of some sort) for the children but we never find out if they were telling the thruth...

The Thorson era is a far more inventive season than the colour Rigg episodes, there is bound to be something in there you'll enjoy so I shouldn't cast them off without looking. What I have seen of The Thorson era makes me disagree with you, especially with Thorson's stoned look and Steed's (seeming...

Say what you want about the color Rigg episodes, but boring they were not (which for me is an absolute requirement). Crikey - I find the colour Riggs the most repetitive and formulaic of the lot - not all of them, but some of them just seem to be a chain of murders with an identical MO until the la...
