Yes, do keep posting! These are fascinating. That one with Patrick in the apron is pretty priceless indeed. 8)

The hallway set which featured in several episodes, usually after undergoing a redressing. The photos I have appear to be possibly used for set design (or/and continuity), because a few of them have markings on the photos pointing to some of the props, referring to them as Old Times Putney (or OTP)...

I just edited my post as her surname is Galli and yes it is her married name. She was very helpful with Bowler Hats and Kinky Boots, telling me several annecdotes and confirming infomation. She also told me that most of her time nowadays is taken up with the running of a children's swimming club. T...

Aha! I didn't know that Cyd had been double for both Diana and Tara and was just guessing a connection but that certainly seems a very likely explanation to me. Thanks very much indeed for that info. Yes, she went on to double for Joanna Lumley in The New Avengers as well, so she had a long history...

It doesn't look like Diana to me--something about the face isn't quite right. It might be Cyd--she doubled for both Diana and Linda, but facially she can look a bit Dianaish at the right angle, and she did have Diana-length hair in season five, which she might not have cut when she started doubling ...

Very well said. These chapters do need to be read more than once to be fully appreciated. I read the book in one sitting as soon as I got it and found it totally fascinating. I've gone back and reread each chapter, one per sitting, and got much more out of them. I also agree that with so much quali...

I wonder if Emma's "modern art" sculpture (drilling and chiselling bits out of a concrete block) is coming along more in some episodes, or if it always had the same bits finished. That's a good question! I've never tracked it by episode, but surely it must look a bit different in-between,...

Gladiators is very difficult to enjoy. Does it have any fans at all? I don't think it would work in any show, not even The Professionals or Kung Fu - its fantasy element (or ridiculously unbelievable element) jibes against its grim violence to leave a nasty taste in the mouth. It's like the antithe...

I think our New Avengers book could be the most interesting of them all because it really splits opinion, even more so that the Tara season. Is it part of the Avengers history? Yes, in my opinion. Is it collectively good? The first season, yes. The second, no. But what will other contributors have ...

Came across this interview with Ian Edginton who is writing the new six part series: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/05/02/steed-and-peel/ He seems to know the series (and the ITC shows) quite well, so hopefully this will be really good. Thanks for that! It is indeed encouraging that he knows so m...
