Incredibly sad news. Brian was there at the start, and his enthusiasm and love for the series endured right up until the end. He left his mark on the show and so many other series over the years. We've lost a huge part of Avengers and television history. Condolences to his family.

Indeed yes. I recently bought a single photo like these for about the same price. This lot were clearly from a TV station archive as they came with an ABC union jack promotional card and several other nice stills including a couple of colour ones. I'll post a few more pictures when I get the chance...

That's a great deal! You could pay that much for one photo easily, so you really did hit the jackpot.

Those are all great. Some of them look to be behind-the-scenes stuff, which is always fun--Diana and Peter Wyngarde, Patrick with the whole of the Superlative Seven set. And look at how lovely Charlotte Rampling is.

Very sad to hear this. Every time we lose one of these people, we lose a little bit of TV history. Sounds like he was a lovely man. My thoughts are with his family.

Great shots, Denis. Diana with her poodle is particularly cute. The other two are unusual because they're onset but very clearly publicity--Patrick and Diana are looking directly at the camera as opposed to acting a scene.
