Absolutely brilliant summary and Happy 60th. Being on our 4th virus mutation after nearly 2 years, this episode amazingly touches on our current predicament with deadly viruses, vaccines and general fear and pandemonium.

I suppose Benny Hill was similar type of humor so you are right there were many fans. The more junk I see on tv the more it makes me appreciate how funny and clever TA were.

Thank you so much mousemeat for a most thorough bio. He was not as well known in the US unfortunately but he steals the show in Girl from Auntie. I agree he should have been in the original Dr. Who. He's a showstopper.
