Diana Rigg's annotated Avengers script in the TV Times?

Just compared that bit of script with the actual scene and there are some marked differences between it and the the finished product.

We never do get that 'special look' from Mrs Peel ...

Sounds pretty close to what I got, although I think the missing words are:

I had a teacher once who always used to say I should be a doctor because of my handwriting. I guess if you can write it, you can read it.

Very intersting to note that the handwritten notes would make the acting more lively and would give it more depth.
