Eh, can I just show off for a moment
I saw La Bête twice and it was an absolutely brilliant play, no matter how bad some of the reviews were. Some critics just really don't have a sense of humour. It was incredibly funny, very cleverly written, and the actors were all fantastic. Joanna was amazing, and Mark Rylance was phenomenal. David Hyde Pierce was really good too.
And meeting Joanna was absolutely amazing! She's just so lovely and sweet and kind, just like you'd expect her to be. We brought her some presents, which I think she really liked. And after we saw the show for the 2nd time we also gave her a rose after the show, with a little card attached to it to thank her for her amazing performances.
Definitely the best few days of this year!

Another great find!
When Joanna was announced as the New Avenger girl this was one of the things I knew her from - apart from Coronation Street. As I may have said before, she was on Call My Bluff quite a bit - during and after being famous. It's nice to have the dates at last...
We used to watch Call My Bluff every week, it was like a precursor to QI. Stephen Fry still does a very good impression of Robert Robinson.
