Things, you (not) only find in The Avengers

Post by Mrs. Peel »

Yesterday they have shown something about a school for butler at TV. This was very similar to SNOB and "What the butler saw", so I was wondering if there are any other things in "real life" which are very avenger-like?

Do you know any shops, institutions...?

Things you (not) only find in the Avengers

I heard somewhere that scientists in the USA are trying to create artificial rain clouds, to make the very dry parts of the world a bit more soggy!

I just hope they don't overdo things, and end up drowning people as in A SURFEIT OF H2O.

don't think they will be able to pull it off....then again, I suppose anything is possible...sorta amazing how shows like that, give birth to 'ideas' like

Although I haven't found many jigsaw shops (etc), there is/was a Tintin shop in Covent Garden which I am sure Steed would have loved to visit!

that's cool :-)
I've found a special shop for umbrellas in Austria. It seems very old, but I think there are still people visiting this shop
