Ian Wegg wrote:You could try turning on subtitles, my old Contender set has them in English and French.

Anyway, it is:

Emma:
Nights of Abandon at the Art.
"The critics said it was ‘unbridled, full of passions. The screen explodes with sensuality. Hailed as a masterpiece throughout the world’ "
It won a German award. It won a French award.
It closed yesterday.

Steed:
Oh dear. Unbridled passions. Why don’t we just spend the evening at home?

Emma:
Why not? Let’s get back to my apartment.

Thank you so much Ian! :D
I haven't got an English subtitle. That's why I'm asking you...

Epic is only interesting for me, really, when Steed shows up at the end. The fight scene is very good, Emma hitting Steed over the head with a real chair is hilarious. The tag scene is wonderful. Otherwise, I guess I am alone in believing the rest to mostly be very boring. It's only Emma, and I find the movie scene set-ups to be repetitive and very soon I drift away. But, I admit I have a very narrow interest in the show. I certainly appreciate reading how others look at it, and analyze it.

I also like that that tag scene supports SEDDI. ;-)

Haha. Yes, the tag scene is great. :D
The best moment for me in "Epic" is, as Emma hits Steed with the real chair.
Absolutely enjoyable!
Don't forget the end scene! Steed and Mrs. Peel are studying the theatre program. "Unbridled passions. Why don't we just spend the evening at home?"
-->That's a very good scene for all SEDDI supporter, I suppose. :D

The first time I watched it, I wasn't crazy about it but with more viewings, I've come to like it a lot.
I tried work, it didn't work out. It was too much like work.
