This content is included on the bonus disc of the "Gesamtedition" which came out last year.

So these features are absent since most of the discs in the new set are identical with the two previous releases and the bonus disc is in fact not part of the new box set.

I own both sets (as stated above) and I can tell you footage is not that ground breaking...

Cheers,
Red

Thanks for the information. I thought i simply couldn't find it on the discs - as it was advertised on the box. I thought i'd mislaid a DVD :)
Obviously a problem with the disc pressings.

The bonus disc IS part of the box set.

Hey Norbert
where IS the bonus disc in the 53 disc German set?
I've not found it anywhere!

I just started getting the German individual sets with the second Tara King set. I noticed if you pick German as the language, on the episode title within the episodes, the German title will be faintly visible along with the English title. I thought that was interesting.

Yes, the same with the titles of the individual box of season 5.
I just have to check, if this also occures in the German Anniversary edition...

Yours sincerely,

Do the German sets feature a corrected "Legacy of Death", i.e. without either the brightness-oscillation problem or the pitch-shift in the sound, that plague other nations' versions?

It's a different print entirely, with its own inherent faults, Franky. Looks a bit yellowy IIRC.

Thanks - I can live with the latest Canal+ one on the UK set (I just turn the bass up), the picture looks gorgeous. One day soon I'll get the soundtrack dubbed across from my Contender version and learn to stop worrying :)
