Most of all I would still love for The Strange Case of the Missing Corpse to be restored in a future boxset. It clearly was shot on 35mm film and is the 1st color mini episode. At 3-4 minutes wouldn't be that extensive of a restoration. It looks surprisingly good damage and all in SD.

I'm playing catch-up on this release. Are the bonus features from the Optimum set ported over?

Also, i had trouble with my US blu-ray edition of season 5- mainly because the pitch was noticeably higher/faster than how the show was broadcast in the States. Is this new Blu-ray "normal" pitch (by US experience)? Is there a clip somewhere on-line I can see to compare?

Thanks, friends.

Hi Jace,

The UK Series 4 Blu-ray ports over all the special features with the exception of the DVD-ROM extras (i.e. PDFs).

The pitch is correct (as per US transmissions).

NB: These are coded Region B, not all region.

Best,

Alan

Thanks for that just ordered my copy. Two avengers bargains in the same week with the lost episodes vol 1 CD set. It is worth sometimes to hold off getting things right away. The main reason for holding off on the blu ray set was to see if there was any issues but for the lost episodes cds I just never got around to getting them. Let's see when season 5 will come down in price.
The Avengers will always be in my heart like it always will be in your's
