Me as well. I might see one with Christopher Lee (The Interrogators).

...the only interpretation worth having. Like Christopher Lee, a legend who one imagined was immortal and who - thanks to the moving image - in one sense is.

Although my interest in the Avengers ceased many years ago, I was shocked and upset today to hear this very, very sad news.

I was just talking to Sunday Swift who has written so much about Patrick Macnee's performances and she commented:

"Steed is immortal, even if his creator is not."

The perfect epitaph.

It's with much sadness that I log on to this site to see what might be happening with dvd/blu-ray releases in the U.S., only to learn of Patrick's death. He was a gentleman in the truest sense of the word, always kind to his co-stars and gracious to his fans. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. The world feels a little emptier this afternoon.

I'll also be watching an Avengers episode this evening.

RIP.

Twitter Tribute from Sir Roger Moore:

"So very sad to hear Pat MacNee has left us. We were mates from 1950s and I have so many happy memories of working with him. A true gent."
