Has anyone read this? I'm finding it a fascinating, and quite touching, personal memoir.

I read about it in some of the forward to the Stay Tuned hardback, I think - but this itself led me onto Joanna Lumley's Class Act which I'd never heard of before and is very "Avengerish" in mixing humour and drama in offbeat ways (it seems like the funny cousin to Diana Rigg's "Mother Love"). I've also got some other obscure Avengers writings to track down, that might lead me to other discoveries... there is always something new about The Avengers!

I loved Roy's book, Look Stop Me if You've Heard This One... I received it for Christmas last year and found it nostalgic and quite touching. His a great writer and has written several fan fiction Avengers books which are also very good.

Quite a time to be collecting Avengers books and merchandise!

I got 'The Avengers The Inside Story' and read the first chapter, the New Avengers and Life After The Avengers chapters. Sometimes I've regretted finding out about 'behind the scenes' of a TV show - so I'm only going to look at 'The Avengers' chapters.

Interesting that Patrick got more to be written for him in Series 2 of The New Avengers and got in trim for it. I like the French episodes but Patrick didn't particularly enjoy making them. See what I mean? It's a pity!

wondering because of the money problems the series was having...and he probably didn't care for canada, at that stage of his career....but who knows..sadly, he's not here to offer his opinion
