ah...season 6...the Tara Era...took me a little while to warm up to her...but eventually, I grew to like her tenure...however, Patrick seemed to be phoning in his lines, etc.....series burn out ? and those sideburns look ghastly...lol


Funny, Tara was liked more in European markets, especially France

The only thing about Patrick I didn't like (and he said this too) was his swapping a Bentley for a Rolls in Tara's Season.
I really like the five episodes you picked! Homicide and Old Lace is cult.

Weirdly, Steed drove a Rolls in the first season, though it was a more modern one. I don't think they had a total handle on the character yet. Similarly when he had modern cars in TNA... the Big Cat Jaguar was all right, but I can't see Steed in a Range Rover or a Toyota Landcruiser really.

Yes, it's a kind of timeless car really, like his clothes. One foot in the elegant past, not bound to the 1970s (or even the 1960s which have sort of become ageless in their own way thanks to so many classic designs and fashions). I guess hopping out of a Landcruiser with a bowler hat on has a certain incongruous humour to it.
