Steed seems to be one of those who can never fully retire and you can't imagine him getting old. He's one of those timeless characters. It's rather sad though to think the implication is that him and Emma only get together properly when their best days are almost all behind them. I'd prefer to think they do so whilst still in their prime.

I haven't read or listened to "Too Many Targets" yet but I think it has them meeting again in the Tara King era.

No, I don't think Emma should have been ' killed' off...I would have actually loved to see her to a actually one on / off appearance on say, the new avengers....instead of that ' phone call '
