Wonderful pics, Darren. Is the headstand shot from How To Succeed At Murder? Patrick looks decidely Cathy-era though.

It's from Brief for Murder, Honor Blackman being on her head (though not in the actual episode).:)

My earliest memory of seeing The Avengers on TV is of Emma Peel at the end of the 1965/66 opening titles. I think this one where she's fighting is my favourite Avengers picture :

Isn't this a beautiful shot? :D I agree - that opening sequence of her in that shiny leather fighting outfit is a very powerful one, synchronized with the music!
I also like (in the same sequence) the 'pan and scan' technique in which the camera goes from one end of the image to another. The photo of Emma in the frilly outfit and John's subsequent eyes looking her way are just charming.
The closing photos (in the car, esp) are great.
