I agree with what you're saying.
However, I think that the only chance of proving this is if someone knows where Terry Nation's paperwork went.

That seems to be a recurring theme with the series and certainly sums up my feelings for this episode. Not as bad as
Wish You Were Here, which for me is the episode that most dissapoints (so far!), but I found after an extremely promising start that this story became very tedious as it wore on.
I was going to give it 7 but I've made a further deduction for the pointlessly sneezing professor.
