Yes, I've got most of OT and ST from back in the day, but this is very worthwhile, and for a good cause. The 'zines had some amazing gems of knowledge and a warm appreciation of the series. Dave Rogers along with Patrick Macnee was instrumental in alerting everyone to the risks of the film negatives telerecordings of season 2 and 3 being in danger of being destroyed forever. The essays and opinion pieces were as good as the (then scarce and hard to come by) production info, and the illustrations were very special too. A great time to be a fan - even if getting to view the episodes was an almost impossible task!

one of the perks of living in the UK, etc..is access to these earlier publications, as they were available...but this new release by Big Bear, is right up there...Myself, I'm looking forward to getting copy, and diving into it..

cheers !

Seems, the first book dedicated to Avengers fanzines! :P Looks and sounds amazing, even though I have had all the numbers of this Dave Rogers fanzine for a long time. It is difficult to give up the thought of not getting it (especially for fanzine fans). :D In my turn, I am most interested in content from the point of view of layout, presentation of material and perception. Thank you for this wonderful product - hum-hum.

Thanks for the interest and orders for the book. It's got off to a good start and we sold a good number of copies yesterday.

I started reading On Target and Stay Tuned again in lockdown and really enjoyed them and thought a lot of the great content should be put back out there, as many new fans will have never read them. I contacted Dave and he loved the idea and is still very much a fan of the show. He said let's do it but do it for a worthy charity.

So we worked together over the year picking out some favourite interviews and articles, some remain the same as they did in the magazine others we added new illustrations to along with vintage ads and other items of the era.

I really wanted it to be a lovely nostalgic chunky Christmas read and at 244 pages I think it does that nicely. I really hope you like reading the content again. Attached is a preview of the interior and the full cover.

I'm looking forward to a very Avengery Christmas. I'm watching the episodes again, which normally I do at Christmas, so it has got me in the mood. I will love having something good to read, too.

The images only need Image around them.
