Just to be clear, it isn't "Wikipedia Admin" who reverted your changes Denis but another user. He removed them on the basis that there was no supporting citation. That user - C.J.Greengrass - has now posted on the article talk page that he accepts your information, see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Jo_Kendall
You should be free to reenter it now but you should add a citation to avoid it being removed again. I guess the information came from the same article posted on the talk page: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FKSdVm-XMAA ... ame=medium
Edit: I've taken out the spurious info and added back some of your original. Hopefully, it can be completed more fully in days to come.

I returned the information to Jo Kendall page on Wiki that I posted earlier by attaching part of it to your link.

Overall, the Wiki article looks a lot nicer now with a cute photo added.

I expect they will remove the photo, they always seem to do so unless it's one a user has taken themselves! Which has led to many unflattering and un-representative photos on many articles.denis rigg wrote: Overall, the Wiki article looks a lot nicer now with a cute photo added.
She's cute in these, too. With the Goodies (Graeme Garden, Bill Oddie, Tim Brooke-Taylor), John Cleese and David Hatch.

Exactly, I have the same suspicion that the photo attached by Andrew Davidson to Wiki page about Jo maybe deleted from.Frankymole wrote:I expect they will remove the photo, they always seem to do so unless it's one a user has taken themselves! In this case it's good that we can use the editorial Wiki archive and see it again. For example, on this point (like Wayback Machine):

At the moment the picture is still on wkipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Jo_Kendall.png, it's just that the article no longer includes it. If Andrew Davidson is able to add an acceptable "non-free use rationale" then the image can be relinked. I think most of us here know that's unlikely to happen, Wikipedia is very strict on what constitutes free use, in which case eventually the image will be deleted.
Regarding my earlier comment about which newspapers use Wikipedia, I see that the Spalding Guardian & Lincolnshire Free Press have published the story today about their "local" girl, including a paragraph about her 1958 marriage to a farmer. I wonder if the actual Mrs Bowd reads the newspaper.

Myself, I like seeing photos like this..and it's a piece of history, especially for those in the States..who weren't really aware of such actors, etc
I'm hoping the WIKI (etc) doesn't remove 'em from the article/thread
