I've watched a "trailer" of the film and have to agree.
It seems to be not a very good/interesting film...

could have been example of needing the cheque...

sometimes..actors have to take what's out there..at times...

some films sound good via script...when the filming begins, it went downhill but fast!

A HQ picture of Patrick Macnee - I have seen it before, but can't remember where.

and a second one, which I have never seen before from The New Avengers ( during filming House of cards?)

Well, I haven't seen it either and it's difficult to identify when it was taken...
I think it is definitely taken after TA and TNA.
Perhaps a BTS-shot of a film or a private picture of him.
I guess ca. 70s or 80s. But I'm absolutely not sure...

This one's quite common--I've seen it loads of times around the 'net. It was taken during the filming of Dead Men are Dangerous, which coincided with Joanna's 31st birthday (they're cutting her birthday cake in the picture). You can tell it's Dead Men because Gareth and Joanna are wearing their karate outfits from Purdey and Gambit's little bout in the gym. Patrick isn't in the scene, so he's in his own clothes. :)

I have a small page about that picture on my site, actually: 8)

This one looks like it could be Pat in the TV movie "Billion Dollar Threat", 1979. Not sure, but he was a wealthy mad man who really dressed well in that show and had his hair cut just like that. He played Horatio Black and was VERY arfable in that otherwise goofy show.

Thank you for the information Mona.
I was so sure I had seen the picture in a book, but I must have been mistaken. When I saw the photo for the first time, I thought it was a picture of Gary Grant and I was suprised, when I realised who it real was.

Maybe you know where this photo is from:

I saw it on the gettyimage page http://www.gettyimages.de/Search/Search ... k+macnee#2 and description said it was taken in January 1966, but that can't be from The Avengers - the pyjama is way to ugly to be part of Steed's wardrobe.[/url]

Thank's Carihart, but I think he looks younger than he did in 1984, when Love boat was filmed.
Here is a link to a Hart to Hart episode from 1984 called Meanwhile back at the ranch with Patrick Macnee and I think he looks quite different to the second Photo of my post.
