Watching the new Avengers DVD trailer I am reminded of a blooper.

When Steed asks Mrs Peel what she's doing, she replies "Chasing a Unidentified Object. That's the venicular isn't it?" It's actually an 'Unidentified Flying Object'. (From Venus With Love of course)

Interesting, Dandy. The American Air Force created the term UFO in 1952, so one might assume Emma should have known the correct usage, but that's perhaps being a bit hard on her. It's unrealistic to suppose Emma knew everything about everything. While a very brilliant woman, as we know quite good at bridge and physics/chemistry, she seems extraordinarily deficient in astronomical science, what with the idea there is vegetation on the moon (as we all know there's only cheese on the moon, proven by Wallace and Grommit), and not knowing the proper UFO term. Perhaps Steed wound up getting her a helpful telescope for her birthday after this case!

Which is fair enough, but this one seems to be travelling along a road...

Just caught this one in 'Death At Bargain Prices'. Julie in the food market is telling Steed about Professor Poppel and mentions he disappeared a few months ago. In the very next scene, Steed is at Emma's flat and asks if she's ever heard of Professor Poppel. She replies to the affirmative and adds, "Didn't he disappear a few weeks ago.

Also, in 'Return Of The Cybernauts', while Steed is waiting in the car outside Beresfords, the close ups show him without his bowler. The far shots show him with, or rather, the stunt double.

Just to point out another mistake in one of the scenes let's go back to The Thirteenth Hole, which I've just watched today. Mind you I've watched this episode a few times before but never noticed till now that at the very last scene (before the closing tag) where the baddie is running away from Steed and Emma through the golf course, we see Steed positioning to swing at the golf balls aimed to knock out the baddie but low and behold when the camera is on the shot of the golfers legs it isn't Pat's legs we see but someone elses. How we know this is that Pat is wearing his socks over his trousers and the "mystery legs" isn't. Which I knew how to capture the scene so I can post it here.

Just watched The Undertakers. Wierd. Very wierld but Pat gave a humorous performance and I always like that. What caught me off guard was his last scene. I know this has probably been brought up before here but it's the strangest behavior I've seen coming out of Steed/Pat. He was a bit uncomprehensible and the giggling fit! He was also sweating pints which kinda worried me(feeling sick?). Does anyone know the story behind this odd blooper?

Just watched The Cybernauts on the new dvd. The Karate Sensei calls Emma 'Obaki', saying it means idiot in Japanese. 'Obaka' is idiot. 'Obaki' is ghost!
