To Linda's defense, I'd say--again--that I don't share Brian Clemens' views on her. If she was selected, that's because SHE was perfect for the part (some rumors, that I won't refer to, and I don't want to believe that rubbish anyway, pretended Linda had obtained the job thanks to her relation with Bryce
). Those rumors were just the words expressed by anti-tara groups (Shame some as.... exist).
Linda had to stay in the Avengers and it's certainly NOT her fault if the series didn't continue for its 7th season. ABC should have found another time slot (10pm like the first episodes broadcast in the US) to let the show survive.
That's all I have to say.

Yes, it was me !
I had written a longer message in fact. I had sent this email for the 'thank you segment' at the origin. Nevertheless, the main information was given. I spent the best weekend ever, it was a 'Dream', really, with great fans to meet.
Nearly a month, can you believe it ?
After playing a song, Paul mentioned my message again as I recall and it had to do with the photos that I took at the Hellfire Club, also when Ray offered him the 50th anniversary book.

Well I've also sent an email to him thanking him for all he's done for The Avengers - I also sent him a photo of a bus-stop showing a poster of his second book alongside the pub where he used to work in Liverpool. If that doesn't get me a mention then nothing will

You might have chance if you sent your message very early. Mine was sent last Monday at 4am (I wasn't sleeping).
Maybe it will help in such circumstances.
