Oh, wow!
Not any more, it's missing believed wiped.
Sounds more or less what I would have expected, but I would have liked to have seen it for myself. Thanks for the review, Dandy.Dandy Forsdyke wrote:Ah, right. That's why I watched it quick - just in case it was pulled down.
I welcomed the chance to have seen it again, so thanks again bramford. The first time I saw this was one Sunday afternoon in 1979 but I didn't really stick with it and went back to my Marvel comics. So I paid special attention to it this time and watched some scenes twice.
The plot is hardly taxing though. I paused it, made a coffee and returned to it. I think Brian wrote this in his sleep to be fair; humour is forced and had that tacky sexual 70's vibe about it.
Apart from the silhouettes and the champagne in the opening credits there was no Avengers-ness. The Joshua character refuses to carry a gun and there is a scene with a brolly - but appropriately so, as it's raining. Oh, there was a teddy bear.
I was right about Morgan Fairchild - she was too frail to do any of the rough stuff. Her threatening karate poses were unintentionally hilarious. Pretty face though. She will always be Chandler Bing's mum in Friends to me, however.
