It might be worth putting a question, here: http://blogs.chi.ac.uk/theavengers/event-info/faq, asking about the cost of autographs - there's no indication that a charge will be made. I've been to many conventions where the guests do not charge extra for autographs.

I put a question on there last week but that was when the website changed, e-mailed them yesterday but am still waiting for a reply.
I could do with the start and finish times, if it doesn't start to early I might be able to get an early train and save money on a room.
Anyone on here going to this?

I almost enrolled last night... I'm trying to justify taking the money from my baby's school fund...

Just booked for the full weekend, now got to work out how to pay for it!
Sounds like the first interview panel starts at 9.30 so might be able to catch the early train.
Any other takers for this event?

Paul O'Grady just gave the event a good plug on his Radio 2 show. :)

I just came here to say the same--you beat me to it.

You can hear it yourself:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00zh446

It starts around 17 minutes. There's a very funny anecdote about a shopkeeper assuming Paul himself was in the series. "Who did he think I was? Purdey?"
