I couldn't find a mannequin with the right stance, build, and the correct height, so I opted to cut one up and fibreglass it back together in order to get a more realistic pose. I was also surprised to note that the Return of the Cybernauts weren't dressed completely in black as I had always believed, but in fact had petrol blue coloured trousers !

Finished: OK, this guys finally complete, added a full body and lowered the neck :D I was able to weld his legs in place in such a way that he's free standing, no base needed, so he's even more authentic. He looks terribly imposing in real life. I'm now (more than ever), determined to build a complete full size Winged Avenger

Truly amazing, as always. You should get a listing in Spotlight and hire your services out to studios.

I've just pulled this out of the mold. It will eventually become the remote control device (seen in the screen grab, second image) that Beresford uses to control Emma Peel and the Cybernaut. I have no idea what they used as the basis for the original prop, so I set about creating a new casing from fibreglass.

Someone seems to believe that the original part used was a remote control unit for a 60's reel to reel tape deck !
