These arrived today and are certainly the correct goggles, now I just have to get to work restoring them and make them Avengerish

They were in bit of a state when I got them, but then I suppose they are over 50 years old. Hopefully with a bit of TLC they'll be the part.

I unstitched them and took them apart ...

After a sanding down, a coat of primer and finally a top coat of aluminium I then tinted the lens's red.

All finished and 'Avengerized'. I treated the leather trim, added a new matching leather strap and finally stitched it all back together.
