This week's banner is from Dead of Winter for two reasons; (1) it's plot is evocative of the rise of fascism under Trump and (2) because according to Dave Rogers it finished filming on this day back in 1961.

New research suggests that it was in fact The Deadly Air that was produced that day and all the dates of the episodes held back by the Actors' Equity strike were produced in a different order, but we've already had The Deadly Air twice so Dead of Winter it is!

A new banner from today to remember Diana Rigg, who has sadly passed away.

Many thanks, Piers. I really like this banner and these words, I feel Mrs. Peel especially in my heart since yesterday. As if a loved one, whom you have known all your life, suddenly left. I have not experienced such a feeling since the departure of Patrick Macnee.

I edited the banner to reflect the change of font in the original "Mrs Peel - We're Needed!" card

Thanks for making a memorial banner.

Do you have the name of that font?

I used Allura for the script. For the version with two different fonts, I used Bell MT, set to 80% width, faux italic and small caps for the "Forever in our hearts!"
