Hard to say as his discography is so prolific, could be some tucked away on B-sides or obscure album tracks. I hope someone knows...

The Mission to Montreal cue sheets are scanned on Alan's site: http://www.declassified.hiddentigerbook ... c_cues.pdf

I have the Laurie Johnson three volume set that was released in 2007.

Any information would be appreciated.
does anyone know if that Johnson set is still in print ?

There's some lovely stock music in Brief for Murder which I'd like to know what it was called. Some nice harpsichord stuff around the yoga school - it always reminds me of how Laurie Johnson might have scored it.

Darren, the only two pieces I can identify from "Brief For Murder" are "Contrebasse Blues" by Pierre Arvay Et Son Orchestre, and "Holiday For Drums," by Pierre Arvay Orchestra. I was unable to identify the brief harpsichord cue.

Contrabasse Blues sounds rather Johnson like during the brassy moments.

Harpsichord? Might be Edwin Astley!

The only Laurie Johnson music I have (apart from on the dvd's) is this 1965 single. Oh, and the New Avengers single. I wouldn't mind getting the Music of Laurie Johnson Vol 1 cd with Avengers music. Does anyone have this cd :?: What do you think of it :?: I haven't seen anything else available yet. Rich.

I've got the Music of Laurie Johnson Vol 1 cd.

It's not one I listen to much.

Assuming that most if not all of his music survived (the album was compiled with the original master tapes), I was disappointed by a few of the choices. It's quite a varied selection but I think there's much better music that could have been included.

I hope that one day someone will do a massively comprehensive release. Network Releasing would probably do a great job.

I enjoyed The New Avengers release more.

As an aside Laurie Johnson is 93 now. I hope he's enjoying life.
