I've read only The Avengers bits and your tribute but that was an interesting interview. Thanks.
I'm only saddened that he fell out with the director, whom he wouldn't name, as he is someone I adore as an actor (I collect all of his films), a very close friend of Patrick Macnee's (they went to Hollywood together, searching for fame) and the inspiration behind my usename.
I'm crushed actually. It might explain a lot that Leslie Phillips doesn't mention the stage show once in his autobiography.

I know what you mean, and wanted to be sure that Simon was happy for it to be included in the interview. I did feel it was potentially 'trouble', but he was very happy with the finished interview when he read it (I sent him a printed version last December).
