Just notice with watching it again that the roller-skating part was filmed very near to Dame Diana's front door...

There is a slightly longer version on youtube witha bit more of the theme and the final *whoops* cymbal crash at the end.

One of the youtube comments threw up another, albeit slightly tenous, Avengers link too, in that Orange, the perma tanned woman with the Strawberry dog, is almost certainly played by Carol Cleveland, Monty Python's glamour girl who of course appeared in A Touch Of Brimstone.

I do like these little coincidences.

Me too! Thanks - I like that better with cymbal crash at the end....it finalises it! :)

First Joanna Lumley in the Christmas ads, now this. M&S are really on an Avengers kick, aren't they? (And doesn't everything seem nicer with the theme played in the background?)

I've seen the Gareth ad before, though--PURRR has a whole whack of them. I may have watched them once or twice.

Thank you. I miss it here, too. I've posted a tiny bit, but I don't know when I'll be back here on a regular basis. Hopefully things will improve to the point I can feel up to contributing more fully again.
