I wonder where they got all that material, (the new extras they filmed themselves, and the episodes and stills are in the archive but) the scripts and promotional brochures have too come from somewhere.

Well, that clinches it. It wasn't going to be worth it to ship it all the way over just for restored episodes, but now they've rolled out the extras. Even ruling out the Keels and Police Surgeon (which I've already seen), the commentaries alone are worth it. And they're so complete about it! Even Julie Stevens! (I like Venus. So sue me). Was Jon Rollason busy?

No, how can I complain. This is brilliant! It's making me hopeful they'll follow suit with other eras of the show. A whole set of Avengers DVDs with proper extras. Wouldn't that be nice?
