I like the scene in House of Cards when Steed is talking about the framed portraits of his ex-partners. Well, he's talking about horses, but his lady friend thinks he means the ex-partners :)
oh yeah, that commercial...haven't seen it in eons..and yeah, that commercial was ground zero...like I said, shame that they really didn't have a healthy budget...it was interesting that TNA aired on American television...on CBS..as part of their late Night lineup..starting at 11:30 pm..in 1979

Can't really say I think GAME is the most Tara Kingish and TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER I would have picked as typical for that season.

Yes, it'd have to be something written by Terry Nation really, or at least heavily script-edited by him.

There is so much going on that I actually don't. Plus the absolutely glorious tag scene, which I think is the best of the entire Avengers run, makes up for the episode being Steed light.

Is the tag the full evening dress dinner in the field of flowers? With a steak done on the engine? Iconic. And Tara has never looked better. It's definitely her top episode.

I think I just got a bit fed up of all the other episodes where it is Steed or Tara but not both - a necessity due to the deadlines, using double-banked filming. So it's not so much this story, rather a kind of creeping dread during the season :) I just love it when they're together and it doesn't happen often enough, bar tag scenes. I think The Morning After is the most blatant - every time Tara wakes up she gets knocked out again! Mirrors gives her a good dippy partner to show (by contrast) how effective she is though - I love Dinsdale Landen.

That's the one, it's an absolute feast for the eyes, there is nothing more Avengers.
