If we could get Honor and Joanna that would be the best weekend of my entire life. :D :D :D
After something like that I could die happy.

Me too - though I'd be happy too if Linda were there.

Should a convention ever be organised, this forum is at it's full disposal for publicity purposes.

Now if it can just be arranged for sometime next late August or September, I plan to be in London then.

If there was an Avengers convention today, who would you like to see?
Obviously it would be hard to get Patrick and Diana to attend, but if given time I think Linda, Honor, Joanna would all love to be there. The writers and directors as well.
Imagine Brian Clemens, Cyd Child, Rhonda Parker, Laurie Johnson along with some of the series most memorable guest stars. Personally I would love to see Jennifer Croxton, Warren Mitchell and Valerie Van Ost.

Count me in for the meet too, particularly if it's in London.

In fact there were a few impromptu Avengers fan meets in a bar in London which happened about 5 years ago, which were organized from a previous Avengers forum.

Great fun they were too.

Anyone else on here attend any of these?

I know that Alan and his wife did.

*He said cryptically*. Mwu hah hah hah.

How about contacting the National Film Theater in London they quite often have screening of cult TV episodes and have in the past couple of years shown several of the season 4 episodes on the big screen (including The Hour That Never Was).
I have been to several James Bond events there and an excellent Italian Job screening where after the screening the producer, stars, actors are interviewed on stage and fans get to meet in the bar afterwards.

Just an idea but something I would love to attend.

That sounds like a great idea: a big screen showing of a couple of Season 4 episodes - or a season 4 and one other - followed by a discussion led by an Avengers veteran.

Rodney wrote:I could certainly organise Don Leaver and Gerry O'Hara as directors, my father as writer...but that is as far as my 'connections' go I'm afraid.
I'd have to beg, borrow, and beg some more to be there, but I'd try to find a way...
