Another chess sequence is in the episode "The white elefant".

And I think, Steed has a secret hobby:D - teddy bears.

I always had the feeling that Steed collected Butterflies, much like 'M' did
in OHMSS....and loved his ale....

Don't forget that in HOW TO SUCEED....AT MURDER and FALSE WITNESS Steed has to use London Transport,both in the form of Regent Three buses.
Although the FALSE WITNESS bus was actually Ministry Transport,I wonder if in HOW TO ep Steed may have flashed his red pass in his bowler at the Conductor without having to incur submitting the bus ticket to the ministry accountants!

He doesn't say but that's probably a good guess.

One more Steed hobby from THJB - photography. He also developes prints in From Venus with Love.

How about Skeet? In one episode he was launching beer cans and shooting them for practice....
