Wild facial hair such as sideburns was de rigeur in that time frame - the dawning of the 70's. I had the sideburns, patterend shirts, flared trousers, and all of the other "fashions" of the time . . . as much as I hate to admit it - and my obvious lack of fashion sense.
I re-grew them a few years ago to participate in a U.S. Civil War reenactment - a low-level paen to General Ambrose Burnside.
As to Tara's style, all one has to do to erase the memories of the ill-chosen pantsuits is to look at:

This was new to me. I thought at first this was fan-made, but probably not...

Wonder why Patrick pronounces 'Tarra King' so odd the first time.

It's an original trailer isn't it? Probably something shown in America.
There's a few interesting shots in there. There's an alternative shot of Tara kick putting on Steed's bowler from the tag scene in Curious Case of Countess Clues. And unless it's completely escaped my memory, that shot of Tara kissing Steed on the cheek and then sitting down with a drinks carton isn't in any episode?

I was wondering the same thing Darren. Does anyone know if that particular scene was ever shown at any time and from what episode? It sure has piqued my curiousity. And unless it's completely escaped my memory, that shot of Tara kissing Steed on the cheek and then sitting down with a drinks carton isn't in any episode?
Every parent has a favorite child. Usually the child belongs to the neighbors.

Did you buy the Best of Tara King Lumiere video boxset too?Dandy Forsdyke wrote:I have a card with Linda drinking from the straw I thought it was just a publicity pic.
I'm fairly certain that the scene doesn't actually appear in any of the episodes or could have been a deleted scene - I'm thinking it was either from Split or Get-a-way.
