Avengers Title Sequences, vote for your favourite

Adore the Tara King 'armour in the fields' sequence. It has a springtime feeling and the outdoor filiming adds another dimension.

Secondly I like the first and second season title sequences for their more enclosed feel and the different pictures of actors used throughout.

It's a shame that Martin Rollason never received his own 'also starring' picture though.

How did the credits run for John Rollason's episodes? Just the 'Starring Patrick Macnee', as per (I imagine) the solo Steed episodes? I think Patrick is still credited on Trapeze unless I'm mistaken.

Macnee is still credited on Girl on a Trapeze, I know that as I watched it last night.

Yes. In the early Season Two episodes, you only saw Patrick's face while "The Avengers" title was shown on the screen, plus the "Starring Patrick Macnee". Then you would see Honor or Julie's picture and name with an "Also Starring" credit, depending on which one was in that particular episode. Jon Rollason was not acknowledged at all, other than in the closing credits immediately after Patrick.

Later on in that season, they modified the opening titles to show Honor with Patrick during "The Avengers", in the same way Ian and Patrick had been. Her credit was also changed to say "And Honor Blackman" as well.
