Fantastic photo's, lovely to see the locations. Pity the Murdersville pond looks so poorly kept, and lordy how the House That Jack Built has altered since I was there, it looks like it's had a total grounds make over. I really must attend the event one year, I really, really must.

Apparently the Murdersville pond totally dried up and it has been restored!

is that common in that neck of your woods ? it's not like the UK gets some blistering heat..unlike my part of the U.S.A. today's heat index is way over 100 degrees plus.....

Brilliant photographs Geoff of what was a most enjoyable weekend.

Plus, I was extremely impressed with the Department S location that you found as it was completely new to the rest of us.

The Saturday night quiz at Arkley Golf Club was also memorable, mainly because you, Rick, Andy and I won it.

Don't think so, but artificial ponds can silt up if they are neglected. It doesn't look like a very deep pond, the duck pond in my nearest village is quite deep with stone "walls".
