Can we expect more diabolical - in the positive sense - punning?
Franky can demonstrate his Dr. Who expertise. Wise choice by Darren as The Curious Case is one of my favourites.

great. You'll have a real challenge to surpass or outdo your Murder Market chapter!

Can't I do "Take Me To Your Leader" then? ;)

(Actually, I do feel more confident with "Thingumajig". And the episode still scares me :) I'll have to do lots of research by watching all the other "church" episodes again though - "Town of No Return", "The Living Dead", "Mandrake"... that one with all the vicars and Steed snogging Mrs Gale :D)

If a Dr Who fan does "Thingumajig", then "Invasion of the Earthmen" really needs to be done by a Star Trek fan!

well I better put my reserve down

I'll take Take Me to Your Leader and ....Two Fellers

The temporal separation in production order might prove extra inpsiring

Also Rodney: I might end up doing own take on Noon-doomsday. If it ends up being too similar to yours yours we can always exclude it

Totally happy for my namesake to do "Take me..." :) A lucky escape for me as it's beyond even my levels of wackiness-comprehension... funnily enough I originally chose "Thingumajig" and then realised its Dr Who-iness might make it too predictable for me, so swapped it for the other one. But I think it'd be great fun to do.

I'll keep "Thingumajig" and "All/Mirrors" - please!

I'd love to tackle a third, but I am too curious about what others think about my favourite episodes. "The Morning After" and "Stay Tuned" are to my mind two of the topmost peaks of late 1960s Avengers.

So glad that Timeless is doing "They Keep Killing Steed", an utterly superb episode, and Jaz is handling "Love All" a story which I am totally in love with. Some brilliant guest star performances in those two, and "They Keep Killing Steed" has Avengerland location work at its finest so feels very open and summery. "Killer" by Rodney should be very interesting, as it's an idea visited in episodes like "House That Jack Built" and "Complex", but experimenting with a new style of partner dynamic (shades of Purdey perhaps).

I'll try to discipline myself down to below 2000 words this time. To say something meaningful in a shorter space is a great but worthwhile challenge.

Sounds like a cowboy challenge! I can always send you my chapter which I wrote a fortnight ago if you want to avoid repetition!

I think that the best Tara era episode by miles is still untaken. Mind you, Stay Tuned will not be easy to explore.
