you could try VLC player?
I have a Mac with an "unhackable" (so far) Matshita DVD-Rom drive that plays DVD's from any region just fine with it.

Got my discs today, and they were only sent on the 28th. I can continue my watching with hardly any break at all. Yay! :D

I just sent my faulty discs to Optimum Home Entertainment too. Fingers crossed the new ones arrive safely. Now to email Optimum and ask for reimbursement of the NZD45.84 (GBP20.00) it cost to return the faulty product to them.

Let me know how you got on! Tracked delivery from the UK cost £4.95.

Somehow, £20.00 to send three discs from NZ to the UK seems somewhat over the top...

No response from Optimum yet but I've sent the email.

We're on the other side of the world so unfortunately not as cheap to send tracked delivery.

I don't want to get into an argument over this - I'm not disputing your honesty. It just seemed to me an excessive amount for postage. I really don't know where Optimum stand on reimbursing postage, and I think this is something that should be between you and them in private, and not for public discussion at the forum.
