Though I do like the idea of Emma Peel in short shorts with high boots in theory, I can not approve of that monstrosity.
The main problem was the mask. What were they thinking?!? How the hell did that thing get further than a sketch on a designers pad?
'The sixties' is the only answer I can come up with.

Linda certainly has beautiful legs so good for her for showing them off.VA_Avenger wrote:No comment necessary . . .
. . . except I'll rate that outfit five mini-skirts.
I see that, as usual, the costume department are doing their best to disguise the fact she has bosoms. As she said, "they seemed to be terrified that I was actually shaped like a woman".

I'm only quoting Linda Thorson - actually it was the show's makers rather than designers she was on about. Presumably the producers preferred Diana Rigg's boyish figure.Dandy Forsdyke wrote:Designers weren't 'terrified' at all. It was simply that 60's designers liked the staight up and down, flat chested tom-boy look. Curves returned in the 70's.

I must have very strange eysesight but I would never, ever describe Diana Rigg's figure as boyish. She is *all* woman as far as I am concerned.
