Fantastic set of mug shots!

I actually had no idea (poss. Avengers girl) Nyree Dawn Porter had been in an Avengers episode. Nor Keith Barron (years before his Target! New Avengers ep.)

dissolute wrote:*blush* thanks everyone, it's nice to know one's efforts aren't in vain.

I have recaptured lots of images for all the seasons and, once I've finished giving all the episodes a decent description rather than just a precis, I'll update the props department. It's been languishing sadly for years.

I love this site! Thanks so much for all your efforts! It's wonderful work!

Breaking news on the site! http://www.dissolute.com.au/avweb/new.html

1 April 2010
...
Elsewhere, I've uncovered evidence that some of Season 1 was sold to the Australian ABC network - click to see the article, screened with the first run of Season 2. So, there's a chance, if slender, that copies of these 'lost' episodes exist in an archive in Artarmon, here in Sydney! More news as it comes to hand...

Thanks Dissolute!

I love the newspaper clip on your site that says:-

Patrick Macnee is in real life a swashbuckling Englishman

I bet Patrick loved that!

And that bit was real, straight out of 1960s journalist school! I'll publish the real article tomorrow.

The real article is now there:

Apologies to Frankymole, the time difference between Sydney and wherever the forum is hosted (United States somewhere?) meant the date was listed as 31 March, I added the local time, but he responded before I'd done so.

I didn't realise Australia still used pounds in the 60s! Now it's dollars isn't it? I wonder why it changed?

Australia decimalised on 14 February 1966:
http://www.australianstamp.com/Coin-Web ... ecimal.htm

Our smallest coin now is the 5c piece, but you don't see them often. 10c pieces are most likely to be someone's smallest coin now. The 1 & 2 cent coins are no longer legal tender.

We have coins for 5, 10, 20, 50 cents, plus $1 and $2.
Notes are $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100.
