I just wish I could do it physically onto canvas using conventional materials and artistic skill.

With practice though it is surprising how much you can improve. I just wish I still had time to get the easle out.

This is true--I tried doing some drawing several years back, and as I worked at it, I did see improvements. I'd still have to work quite a bit harder to reach a certain level than someone picked it up intuitively, though. I admire those who can.
