Lady Diana Forbes or Purdey, in terms of sex appeal. (I find Mrs Gale and Mrs Peel more 'handsome' than beautiful).

I must disagree! There was a poll of American TV viewers some 15-20 after the Avengers TV show went off the air. Honor Blackman and Diana Rigg had not been forgotten and both were voted onto a list of the sexiest female TV stars. Both of them were cast as Bond Girls in the James Bond movies. Honor was cast as Hera, wife of Zeus and queen of the gods, in the 1963 movie Jason and the Argonauts. Who can doubt Zeus' good taste?
Sometimes I pull out an Avengers DVD sleeve to plunk into the DVD player and find I have to force myself to stop staring at a photo of one of them. Pure knockouts.

Yes ,I hated the fact that Emma was played by a man in some of the fight scenes in Season 4.Why couldn't they find
a female stunt double? It's so obviously a man in some of the scenes,which ruins the whole thing!

Anyway,I still love Emma best,even if she isn't Diana in some scenes but Billy Westley...

Definitely Mrs. Peel in my opinion. She was not only attractive, but her whole demeanor added to her "appeal".

I would have put Emma top of the list as she is of course very lovely, but she just seems a bit too perfect.....Tara is not perfect but to me that makes her more appealing, she seems more 'real'.
