The site continues to be updated - I've just finished "The Secrets Broker".
http://www.dissolute.com.au/avweb/new.html

It's raised a question though, and I can't for the life of me remember the episode. There's a scene early in a black and white episode - probably Season 2 - where Cathy and Steed are discussing a case over breakfast.

the scene is notable because it has the most blatant product placement - Steed is cutting a coupon or cowboy or something out of his cereal packet, and basically holds the packet up to camera for several seconds to do so.
Can anyone remember where that was?

I think it's "A Conspiracy of Silence" but I can't remember for sure. If no-one replies in time, I'll check this evening (and add the trivia to the relevant episode).

Easy peasy as it's one of my favourites.

The Golden Eggs.

Especially notable recently since that very scene went wandering to a later part of the episode due to the original DVD error.

Thanks Darren, it was indeed The Golden Eggs - I've updated the site, profusely illustrated throughout, as they used to say.

Just in case you're not subscribing to my updates feed, I've just added videos for Venus' songs to go with the MP3s I've been offering since last June.

(Thanks Rhonda for correcting the link).

Three updates in four days!

I've just uploaded new cast member photos for Seasons 2 & 3 - now mostly 500x400 (think 1/2 to 1/3 of most people's computer screens) in the cast lists. Stars of the show get 800x640.

Mugshots in the guides are 250x250 (e.g. other shows, regulars, who's killing whom...).

In case you haven't been keeping up to date (the good folk over at Britmovies have), Series 4 has the 500x400 cast member mugshots and Series 5 up to "The Hidden Tiger" does as well.

...and about a hundred billion extra continuity, trivia and production notes too.

Problem.

Post by NickP »

There seems to be a problem with the dissolute website: the top two thirds of any page gets "blanked out". The contents are visible in a faded way, but no links can be clicked on. I suspect it is something to do with the pop-up ad. I've tried different browsers and PCs but it always happens.

Anyone else seeing this?
