when the new Avengers came out, I was overseas and never the less never was able to watch the full series.
There was an episode [my best recollection] where Purdy took a pill (supposedly poison) and drank it, with Garth there, and Garth stated something to the effect of 'saving herself for him'

This was just a glimpse that I caught and found out that the series was done.
Any ideas.
